Conversation
We begin in your kitchen, listening to daily rhythms, wishes, and budget to shape priorities.

Hand Sketch
Pam drafts every elevation by pencil, refining proportions until the layout feels inevitable and effortless.

Materials Review
Touch and view timber, stains, and stones under project lighting to find the perfect fit.

Craft
In the workshop, we hand-cut, match grain, and plane until every joint fits invisibly.

Installation
Cabinetry arrives ready. We protect, coordinate, and install with care and precision.

Follow Up
Six months later, we revisit, adjust, and oil to keep your kitchen maturing gracefully.

Materials & Finishes That Age Beautifully
We work only with solid hardwoods—rift-oak, walnut, reclaimed chestnut—air-dried in our shop until perfectly balanced. Grains are hand-matched across doors, stains custom-mixed to the light in your home, and every surface is sealed with low-VOC oils that invite touch and deepen in tone over time. Hardware is marine-grade brass; even hidden edges are planed and burnished. The result is cabinetry that gathers character, not wear—growing richer each year it’s lived in.

Good Wood shop Good
What It Means to Be Good Wood Shop Good
A STANDARD OF CRAFT WHERE “GOOD” HARDLY SUFFICES.
Good Wood Shop Good is the measure we hold ourselves to when the ordinary isn’t enough. It’s grain aligned so precisely it feels grown, dovetails so true that light has no way through, schedules kept as promised, and trust that outlives the project. It is quiet, heirloom-level excellence — not tallied in months or margins, but in the invitations from clients asking us back to build again.
